Hydraulic Jacks

At Aguado we are very strict, cautious and careful with the maintenance of our material and with extra care regarding the Hydraulic Jacks, especially in all aspects related to the absolute absence of leakage of fluid that serves to transmit heavy loads.

The fluids used are usually synthetic oils with low viscosity due to their ability to self-lubricate and their stability. The most powerful hydraulic jacks use electric pumps to provide the hydraulic pressure necessary to work at considerable distances and with the capacity to relocate heavy-duty loads.

The operation of the hydraulic jack comes from the Pascal’s principle, which states that the pressure applied to a fluid in a sealed container is transmitted uniformly in all its points. The device contains two pistons arranged in “U” shape, one with a small section (in which the pressure is applied to the fluid by a lever or a pump), and the other with a large section (where the load to be lifted is placed). The key to performance is represented by the unidirectional valves, which allow the fluid flow in one direction only.
